Elections Commission has launched an online system to streamline the process for individuals wishing to withdraw from political party membership. This new feature is accessible through the “my.elections.gov.mv” portal, which provides real-time updates of the submissions.

 With the introduction of this digital service, the commission has officially discontinued the previous paper withdrawal form. Users can submit their requests easily from “my.elections.gov.mv” portal via “efass”, which is utilized for various government services, eliminating the need for additional documentation. This initiative aims to enhance convenience and reliability for the public, making the withdrawal process more efficient.
