The deadline for political parties and candidates to sign the voters registry has been formally extended by an additional day.

 

The extension follows a fire incident that occurred last night in a storage area adjacent to the Elections Center. As a precautionary measure, operations of the Center have been temporarily relocated to the Social Center.

 

To ensure continuity of the process, the signing of the final voters registry recommenced today from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the new location.

 

In addition, to provide further convenience to political parties and candidates, the signing process will continue at the Social Center until Saturday, 21 March 2026, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

 

Authorities have confirmed that, despite the incident, there will be no delays to the upcoming election. All electoral processes will proceed as scheduled.
